Focus is a finite thing.

You can only apply it to one thing at a time.

You know this.

Yet your work day doesn’t reflect it.

Don’t be tempted by the lie that says, “you can do it all.”

You’re a finite creature with limits. Embrace them.

Look at your to-do list and prioritize everything on it.

Apply your focus 100% to that top item. No distractions. No breaks. No nothing until it’s done.

Then take another look at your to-do list and repeat for the top item remaining.

Do this until you’ve achomplished all you can for the day.

You may have a dozen things that need to get done today, but you can’t do them all at once.
